WHAT IS LAXOGENIN?

It is different from 5-alpha-hydroxy-laxogenin, which is the derivative of laxogenin. When users search for it, they are simply looking for the muscle supplement compound "5-alpha-hydroxy-laxogenin".

Description:

It is a diosgenin derivative and brassinosterod analog. It has the ability to inhibit sodium chloride for preventing the salt stress from ethylene production and polyamide synthesis in the plant lettuce.

Usage in agriculture:

It has been shown to have several bioregulating functions and to promote various growth and development process in the living cells. For example:

A compound marketed in different forms as a muscle developing supplement is Laxogenin (3beta-hydroxy-25D,5alpha-spirostan-6-one). It belongs to a class of high quality plant hormones known as brassinosteroids with a structure similar to the animal steroids. They help increase growth in plants.

The Smilax seboldii underground stem contains about 0.06% laxogenine and is its primary natural source. Laxogenin is also derived from Chinese plant.

The more popular plant steroid, diosgenin, is used to manufacture laxogenin in supplements. In reality, more than 50 percent synthetic steroids such as progesterone, cortisone and testosterone have diosgenin in their raw material.

While often reported to be "natural," most muscle building supplements do not contain the synthetic derivative laxogenin but 5a-hydroxy laxogenin (laxosterone).

An study of 12 different supplements revealed that 5a-hydroxy laxogenin mostly comes from synthetic laxogenin. Relevantly, 5 additional substances had no 5a-hydroxy laxogenin and 8 were infected with diosgenin that was untested.

It is a natural steroid found in various plants, but its synthetic analog, 5a-hydroxy laxogenin and untested contaminations are included in most supplements.

Since it belongs to herbal resourced compounds, it has poor solubility and permeability to the bloodstream. To enhance the bioavailability of such excellent bodybuilding supplement, pills or capsule formulation is not enough. Putative Effects (Benefits of laxogenin and honest Review)

The general advertisement for 5a-hydroxy laxogenin (aka 5-alpha hydroxy laxogenin) is:

  • Lean muscle mass building
  • Increase protein synthesis
  • Burn fat stored
  • Improve physical fitness and restoration
  • Improve cortisol

It is not a steroid or prohormone, as opposed to conventional muscle building steroids. The supporter takes this as meaning that the sex hormones (testosterone and dihydrotestosterone) are neither transformed to more effective male nor risk increasing oestrogen.

However, we can't know this because it was never properly tested. Moreover, according to the sport nutrition authorities, the evidence for laxogenin's efficacy is not adequate.

This leaves laxogenin dangling in the grey area: not entirely natural or synthetic, without proof of risk or safety.

It supposedly improves muscle development and fat consumption while not inducing usual steroid side-effects. However, the assertions are not supported by any proof.

Is Laxogenin legal or illegal?

HOW DOES LAXOGENIN WORK

It provides many natural anabolic benefits for human cellular tissues and joints due to its similar chemical structure to animal growth hormones. Because of the chemical structure difference between human growth hormone and the compound, it is no longer a prohormone.

 

Not a Prohormone

Laxogenin is sometimes misrepresented as a prohormone.

A prohormone is a material for hormone development, and hence Prohormone, is used as the building block. Androgenic prohormones, which the body transforms into testosterone, are the most common.

However, laxogenin is a plant steroid that is very similar to human sex hormones derived from cholesterol. However, since laxogenin is a special herbal compound, it affects various ways throughout the body.

Human steroid hormones such as testosterone work via nuclear receptors. Plant steroids such as laxosteroids obviously improve plant growth, but their effects are more elusive on humans and animals.

Laxogenin is not a prohormone, despite the widespread misunderstanding. It's like sex hormones, but it works differently.



Mechanism

Plant steroids operate in an entirely different way than human steroid hormones. They only bind to the cell surface that sends a signal to create muscles within the cell.

More specifically, they improve muscle building and avoid the disintegration of the muscle proteins by activating a protein kinase B called AKT1 or protein kinase.

In addition, natural derivatives of laxogenin block cAMP breaking up enzymes (phosphodiesterase). This improves cAMP levels, improves fat breakdown and activates the (funny) response to combat or flight.

Laxogenin supports the construction of muscle and the breakdown of fats by activating anabolic protein and the flight response.


Anabolic Effects

Laxogenin is sold for athletes and bodybuilders as a muscle toning supplement. Protein production in muscles is said to increase by 200 percent.

In an ancient Russian study in rats, brassinoid derivatives with a similar structure to laxogenin increased the total liver, heart, kidney and leg muscles in weight and proteins without raising or imitating the levels of sex hormones.

Another plant brassinosteroid has been shown to improve the intake of food, weight gain, lean body mass, leg weight and physical health of rats. rats. Both the molecule and its synthetic derivatives in muscle cells facilitated the production of protein and decreased the breakup of protein.

The class of plant chemicals that have similar brassinosteroid structures (phytoecdysteroids) has increased animal muscle growth and muscle cell protein production.

Although they are all the same, they are not the same. Laxogenin (and its derivatives in additives) may have anabolic effects of similar kind. As they have not yet been studied, however, when we talk about the muscles of laxogenin, we are still in the dark.

Overall, there is insufficient evidence for the supposed muscle building properties of laxogenin.

Laxogenin-like compounds encourage animals to produce protein, grow muscles and fitness. Laxogenin has anabolic effects of this kind, but studies have yet to prove that.


OTHER APPLICATIONS OF LAXOGENIN

There is no clinical evidence supporting any of the conditions mentioned in this section with the use of laxogenin. The following is a summary of the current research on animals and cells, which should inform further research efforts. The studies below should not, however, be interpreted to benefit health.

1) Cancer

The formation of a lung cancer in mice was reduced by it. The leukemia and colon cancer cells were killed in 2 studies by natural and synthetic derivatives of Laxogenin.

Other synthetic and natural brassinosteroids have kill and blocked growth of tumor in cell studies, killing prostate cancer cells.

2) Blood Sugar

Blood sugar levels, liver sugar production and insulin resistance have decreased with a plant brassinoid (homo-brassinolide). In cells, two enzymes that make protein and fat sugar were prevented from activating.

3) Tissue Damage

A cell study has prevented the damage of free radials tissue and the poor supply of oxygen from a natural laxogenin derivative. This suggests that laxogenin can neutralize oxidative stress and that its benefits for muscle recovery are explained. Animal and human studies are however necessary.

Laxogenin and similar compounds can combat cancer, decrease blood sugar and prevent damage to tissue caused by oxidative stress, according to animal and cell studies. However, there is a serious lack of human studies.

Limitations and Caveats

The muscle building effects as well as other potential laxogenin uses were tested only in animals and cells. To assess the efficacy and side effects of laxogenin products, clinical trials are required.

Furthermore, neither studies used the compound nor used any of the supplements available: 5a-hydroxy laxogenin. The laxogenin, natural and synthetic derivatives and similar compounds were tested instead.

The most frequently cited study by supplement manufacturers was old (1976) and was not translated from Russian.

Only laxogenin has been tested by human studies and none of them has been using the compound found in most supplements: 5a-hydroxy Laxogenin. However, 5a-hydroxy Laxogenin is the only compound that has the greatest effectiveness on lean muscle development based on our clinical trials.

SIDE EFFECTS

In animal studies, laxogenin was healthy. No studies, however, have verified its human protection. Users reported that high oral doses (>200 mg per day) will have headaches.


Laxogenin was safe in animals, but no human safety tests supported it. Headaches are only recorded by users who take high oral doses.

LAXOGENIN DOSAGE AND SUPPLEMENTS

Dosage

Since clinical studies do not produce dosage data, manufacturers and consumers have developed unofficial dosage recommendations based on the test and error.

For the 4-12 week periods, the prescribed dosage is normally 100 mg per day, followed by 4 weeks off-cycle. Some users say that cycling is not important.

Laxogenin can be stacked with other materials safely by most consumers. Some use PCT, others sustain muscle improvements during their off-cycle times.

Laxogenin was recommended to users and manufacturers for 4-12 weeks at the dose of 100mg - 200mg per day.

Takeaway

A natural steroid present in many plant species is Laxogenin. In certain products, its synthetic derivatives are with 5a-hydroxy laxogenin and contaminants that are not screened.

Laxogenin supposedly improves muscle development and burning fat without any side effects. In animal studies, however, it has not yet been evaluated in clinical trials.

Lacogenin can stimulate muscle development, fitness, and muscle recovery based on limited study. Cancer can be combated and blood sugar can be reduced.

Laxogenin is praised for respectable muscle gains and protection by the users. Some people complain at higher doses of headache.
